Sorry, but no pretty screenshots this round, fellas. You can check out one of the 5,000 screenshots of people killing AV on some other blog. I'd post a pic of AV, but Titan sucks and can't kill it. Or you can check out sevataru's LJ if you want to see a picture of a shoe.
Anyhoo, I've had an epiphany, if you will over the past few weeks. And that is most people in FFXI play the game for themselves, so why shouldn't I? So many people are just out for themselves and the gear they get. Very few people have that communal feeling of accomplishing something as a group anymore. At least in the circles I run with. Before it sickened me, but now I embrace it. (As an aside, I think this may be coupled with the fact that my time on FFXI has been diminished due to school and work, so I cherish whatever time that I have on FFXI even more.) So, if you think I've suddenly become more of an asshole, then it would be because of my new lease on FFXI. It's also because I probably don't care what you think. I have some pretty good, old friends that I respect on game, but for the most part, I don't play this game to make as many friends as possible. I just play the game to kill big shit and am polite to the people that I deal with because that's just how I am in real life.
I seriously can't stand Titan for reasons that I cannot seem to bring to words. I took a week long break from Karasu to hang out in Breakfast of Victory (HOMEPAGE CAN BE FOUND HERE ffxibagel, and ever since I started equipping the Karasu pearl, I can't stay on for more than like 2 hours. I'm convinced that Karasu is an amalgamation of the best and worst players on Titan. Seriously, our skilled playerbase is spread way too thin. Karasu can't zerg AV. Legacy can't zerg AV. If Karasu and Legacy got together, they probably wouldn't be able to zerg AV. The dominant JP linkshell sure as hell can't zerg AV since they can't even kill KV. One of their leaders paid 10 mil for an ace's helm from Legacy cuz his own linkshell couldn't kill the mob.
I would server hop, but I wouldn't have the faintest idea of where to go. I should just quit this game.
