Yes, it has. It was released . . . in September, I think.

Yeah! Hey, is it worth buying? I sometimes buy the anime and then resell it since it doesn't work for me to rent online and none of our rental places around here are going to carry it. And if I like the anime enough I wind up keeping it.

Hmm. It depends. I'm something of a completist, so if I have part of a series, I need to have the whole thing. I liked the movie a lot; it had some awesome moments, it was brighter and even better animated than the series, great songs, and it wrapped the whole thing up. But there was one disappointing part to the ending; I won't spoil the movie for you.

My advice would be to rent it first, then see if it's something you'll want to watch again.
