Messing with Lovecraft (Friday amusment)

You know how there are out-of-copyright novels showing up with zombies in them? Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, for instance. Well, what about when H.P. Lovecraft's works go out of copyright (which is really ambiguous, btw). That will be a neat opportunity. Not to put zombies into his works, no. Putting zombies into a novel only works if the novel is totally un-zombie-like to begin with. What we'd put into H.P. Lovecraft's works would have to be the anti-shoggoth. Something so cute that it bends you brain to think about it. Something really wrong .
