the only question that comes to mind is where one draws the line on giving freedom to other peoples. if that is the main reason we want to wage war on another country, where does it stop? will we go down the list of other countries one by one, remaking them with violence as we see fit? if not, why not? how free do a people have to be before they are deemed to be free? does one land deserve freedom more than another, so we act on them and not somewhere like darfur? there is no simple answer to this that i can see
