Help a friend?

Many of you may know my dear friend irana. she has been ill for quite some time and though a series of coincidences has been unable to see a doctor. This morning things got worse and now is being admitted to the hospital today in heart failure. As she is not even 40 years old, this is a very strange and worrisome occurrence. As of yet, I do not know the wheres and why-fores of the situation, but I ask that you please pray, light a candle, or send healing energy to her as you feel so moved.
Sadly, she and her husband were forced to declare bankruptcy some time ago. Under the new bankruptcy laws this means that even one missed payment means foreclosure. We (I and a few others of her friends) will also be taking up collections to help pay their mortgage and bills so they do not lose their house and can concentrate of her getting better. I ask that you please send whatever you can spare. Every single cent can only help matters.
I will update as I am more aware of how things are going, but please refrain from bombarding them with phone calls, as they have enough to deal with right now. If you wish to spread this to your owns friends list, please list my livejournal email (mermaidblue@livejournal.com) as a way for people to contact me.
