On the Road Again!
Tomorrow is my very last exam of the semester: a multiple-choice-style thingie on first aid. I have high hopes. It's looking like--knock on wood--I've got straight A's this semester! HOO-wha!
So saying, as soon as I get out of my exam, I'm taking Vinny (my car) to Firestone for a good once-over. melannen and I are going to hit the road early on Friday morning. We're headed to VERMONT! WOO!
Sadly, there's no time or money for side trips to Boston. :( This makes me very, very sad. I will miss the Junes' tea party over at R's house and the Christmas Party at Chez Punt. However, if melannen, enemy_anime, and I are serious about moving this July... we've gotta scout out jobs, rental properties, schools, and potential issues.
We'll be up there from Friday the 14th to Friday the 21st. lady_ganesh, I believe I have your phone number. It would be awesome to hang out with you while we're up there. Maybe you could show us the region's largest moth ball factory or something. At least you can give us a head's up on which side of the forest/moose/gorge is bloods and which is crips. Don't wanna get shot. ;)
The hostel we're staying at has the net, but i'll have to pry melannen's laptop out of her white-knuckled, addict-grip to get on. I'll probably check my email every two days or so.
