I feel really bad.
My cousin Roberto, who lives in Italy, just messaged me for the first time on MSN, and I missed it. He's offline now. I missed it because I was having a stupid argument with my mom about the renovation of our basement.
anyways....I feel bad for one other reason. Back in January Roberto attached a request to the end of one of his mother's emails to my mother. He asked me if I could send him Dragonball Z in English, so he can better learn the language. I happily agreed and stated I would update him on my progress.
Now, I said this thinking that my father's promise of a new computer sometime soon would be fulfilled. Three months later, and I'm even further from being able to fulfill my own promise.
See, I need about 30 gigabytes of hard drive space (by comparison, my laptop only has a 30 gig hard drive), and at the time of Roberto's request, I had enough space (about 2/3 gigs) that I would be able to download DBZ, burn it to CDs, delete it, and repeat. Not ideal, but it would have worked.
Now, I must stick with my first plan. I need a computer with at least 30 gigs of free space, and a DVD burner.
I feel so incredibly bad about leading Roberto along that I will be infinitely grateful to whomever can assist me here.
As a given, I will provide all blank DVDs, all bandwidth, and all snacks/meals....I just really need a hand here.
