Best sidetrack ever?

I was shown a 15 minute video of the Lorax today. Surprisingly (or maybe not I guess, I probably just have no taste) it was actually really really good. Came with a funny story of how it was one of their 1st year ecology texts. I can definitely just imagine that, although it was their recall of their disbelief that clinched it for me. Simplified and all but it's amazing imo that a children's book could be about deforestation and greed and such topics could still be full of charm and hope without ever randomly feeling like preaching.

Worth every second, although I have also been warned off the new film. Unashamedly googled the plot, looks like nothing particularly spectacular. Maybe if I stumble across it on TV in a few years I'll sink the hour or so in.
