lots of fun with friends lately! trying to get in a lot of quality time before the big moves (mine and nathan's).
went to starbucks yesterday with meagan and ashley! they were studying, so i read the newspaper. i especially liked the personal ads in the gainesville sun! they were hilarious and there were actually people in their twenties with ads! honestly, i wouldn't get that desperate until i was forty and unmarried!
nathan, josh, and i wandered around gainesville last night looking for a new restaurant to try. the boys made fun of me because they say i'm a bad driver! in reality, i'm a wonderful driver. they were just mad at me for not letting one of them drive my car. we passed up on sandy's place, a greek restaurant (sounds like it, doesn't it? no.) we ended up at nero's, a great little italian place. good food, good conversation. they sat us in the back corner. we're loud! the boys were in love with our waitress and tried to out tip each other once we got our checks! i think she got a 50% tip!
tonight was nathan's going to alaska/gordon's birthday party! it was a pretty big party. mostly guys there, which is WONDERFUL for me! i saw a kid who was a student in the class i volunteered in this semester at buchholz high school. i thought it was him but couldn't tell, so nathan introduced us. it was him! he and nathan had spanish together in high school. so, i met james and talked to him all night. he's really cool, but IN HIGH SCHOOL i know! either way, he's going to audition for the real world with me tomorrow. meagan, ross, james, and i! should be fun! i met ross's roommate too. i thought he was cool, until he started talking crap about ross and i dating in high school! just kidding. it was all in good fun! also met dr. phil's son (jordan mcgraw). not really, but he looked EXACTLY like him! i told him so, but he didn't know who that was. i told him to go home and google jordan mcgraw. brittany mahler was there too. kind of awkward, since we know each other but not really.
tonight was also the night of compliments. HOORAY FOR ME!! gordon said, "wow! you look a lot thinner since i last saw you!" and then once ross's roommate found out i dated ross, he said i looked a lot like CAITLIN PLUMMER! i took that as a compliment, since i think caitlin is gorgeous! but other than our shared brown hair and bra size, i don't think we look too much alike. caitlin is way hotter!
so, been having fun lately! tomorrow is the real world audition. the guys are meeting us at our apartment tomorrow so we can all go together. then sunday night is nathan's farewell dinner! :(
