A wonderful way to ring in the new year......
It's official, I'm sick. I lost my voice yesterday morning and progressivly felt like crap all day. I woke up this morning feeling worse, and coughing. I've got the day off work, so I won't be doing anything productive other than eating and maybe some knitting.
My mitts came out great. I just need to take a picture of them. I tried twice today to start a pair of Griffindor mitts, but after two failed attempts, I think I'll just work on something that I've already got going. Like Dave's scarf. I found the perfect sweater pattern for him, and I just need to get the right yarn for it.
Yesterday, work wasn't as busy as I thought it would be. Which is a good thing, really. It's hard to talk to customers when your voice sounds like a cartoon character. But most of them were understanding.
I can't get limewire to work for me today. Maybe the fact that everything is giving me problems is a sign I should make another cup of tea, some toast, and curl up to watch a movie. I think I just may do that.
