Summary: Sam and Dean count down to the new year in a crowded bar
Warnings: Me attempting drabble (hence the 300 wordcount), I was mildly hungover when I wrote this fic this morning, and no beta.
Notes: Really don't know what exactly prompted me to write this, but it's the first fic of 2011 for me!! Last night we went out for New Years for the first time in five years, so it was pretty monumental! Yeah, going to shut it now..... :P

The bar is crowded, but Sam has no problems navigating through the people. He laughs as a small girl in a satin dress places a plastic lei around his neck.
“Now you can say you got lei’d on New Years,” she shouted and kissed him on the cheek. She disappears into the crowd, leaving Sam laughing to himself.
A beer is held up in front of his face by Dean, who’s grinning like an idiot. He has four plastic leis around his neck and a tiara on his head that reads “Happy New Year.” Sam shakes his head and takes the beer.
“And you wanted to stay at the motel!” Dean shouted as he swiped a chicken wing off a tray a waitress was carrying. Sam laughed and drank half of his beer.
“Ten minutes to midnight!” The deejay said over the PA system. The crowd cheered.
A group of girls dragged the Winchesters to the crowded dance floor. They danced around the two, while Sam and Dean did their best to move somewhat with the beat. Every so often, Dean would give Sam a thumbs up.
At the head of the dance floor, a large television screen was playing Dick Clarke’s New Years special. No one actually paid attention to it, except the deejay. Every minute that passed, he announced how much time was left in the year.
The whole crowd counted from fifteen seconds, eyes glued to the giant timer. When they reached zero, everyone shouted Happy New Year. Balloons dropped from the ceiling, and confetti poppers shot into the crowd. Auld Lange Sine was played, and one of the girls they were dancing with pulled Sam in for a kiss.
Through the sea of balloons and confetti, Sam found Dean. Without thinking or caring, Sam pulled Dean against him, kissing him. Sam felt Dean relax against him, and kiss back.
The music changed, and the crowd resumed their partying. Sam and Dean stayed kissing, ignoring everyone around them.
“Happy New Year,” Sam whispered against Dean’s cheek.
“Happy New Year, Sammy,” Dean whispered back.
