... hearts and minds as one. I'm not sure where I've heard that before. I think I've heard it at least. Perhaps it's a creation of my own mind. Details like that really don't matter much to me. At any rate, it's how I've been feeling so much of the time (or rather all of the time) lately. Jenny and I have successfully spent almost all of our free time together over the last seven days, and I could hope for nothing more than a repeat for next week. This week has been an up and up (rather than up and down, as I'm so used to) one for me. Yesterday was a long day for us. She came by and picked me up, and I drove us to pick up her brother and father from Sarnia. They had just finished a tallship trek and needed to be taken back to their vehicle in Bay City. It was a good morning of driving and we talked and listened to music and it was really quite nice. The bridge took a good deal of time to get across (both ways), but it was all good. You see, even with the ridiculous heat and humidity, I had a wonderful time. *contented sigh*
Well, we spent the rest of the day driving them to Bay City and then we went off to Great Lakes Crossing for a little shopping adventure and some chow at Stir Crazy. We went to Star and watched S.W.A.T. and then came back here and talked all night. I think sleep actually settled in around 0600 and she had to be up at 0700 to drive home for work. That's pretty impressive! Needless to say I went back to sleep until about 1030. Now I'm up and helping mom with some stuff outside and getting ready for work. It should be a busyish day today out in Utica and the east side. I'm sure I'll head off to Ann Arbor tonight when all is said and done and find another way or two to deprive myself of sleep. Jenny... we really need to work on this! ^_^
Hmmm, that is that I guess. I should be off now... ciao!
