Holy SAKURA snow!

For the frigging FIRST TIME in my life and my half dozen trips to Japan, I have finally finally seen the Cherry Blossoms in all its magnificent blossoming glory. I had already seen the flowers bloom gradually as I jogged around the park near my home. But today, as Justin was in town, we made the long trip (ok lah about 1.5hrs) to UENO Park and saw what can only be described as an Ah Lian's idea of Pink Wonderland.

We stuffed our faces with Yakisoba, and a super long sausage which turned out to be all appearances and no substance. As Justin succintly pointed out, "not juicy one".  I indulged myself in some overpriced beer, and got caught in a "OMFG" moment as the petals danced around me every time a strong gust of wind stroked my neck. I felt like I was Oren Ishi in a "Is that a Hattori Hanzo sword" scenario.

We walked, took pictures, said quiet prayers - I wished for health and wealth, he wished for love. We then strolled to the shops, before training to Ginza, where we resisted Burberry's temptation. He however, failed to turn down a Porter bag at Shinjuku, and is now happily attached to a stylish black Porter bag. I am, as always, still pining for a Godard. But only after I get my damn DS lite or PS3.

Speaking of which, graphics in gaming continues to make my jaw drop. Over at Ginza's Sony showroom, I drooled slowly as Justin controlled Naruto kun and make him jump, throw shurikens, and a bunch of other hot ninja moves against Gaara's dunno how many tail fox. I need a PSP pronto. I also need a kick ass 50 inch flat screen TV.

Pictures will come soon. As soon as I get around to it.
