A Plea to my Wisconsin Friends

Vote today! There is no reason not to be voting, polls are open until 8pm and it only takes 20 minutes max to vote. That includes registering to vote, which you can do at the polls (which Josh and I just did).

And vote *NO* on the Gay Marriage Ban Amendment. Please. We have a chance to be the first state *not* to write discrimination into the ( Read more... )

I would have voted, except to register here at parkside, you need proof of a "permanent" [as in, not dorm] address. Of which I have none. :(

I asked if we could use our driver's license for that, but apparently not. :(

Ah well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on the amendment. If I could've registered, I definetly would've voted 'no'!

Really? That's definitely not how it's done here in Madison (I know, as I voted when I was in the dorms in 2004), and I thought those sorts of things were the same across the state.

We can only hope on that amendment...

I'd vote if I could. Absentee ballots are such a bitch, especially when they have to be shipped overseas.

Good luck Aquaman. We voted on that bill last year here in Texas, which passed by a landslide. But, it's Texas.

WI is a lot more liberal than TX, thankfully... I only hope that it's enough...
