Grad Night
Grad night was amazing.
First we all met at school at 6:30pm where we were given disposable cameras and told to hang out for 1/2 an hour. Then we got on the buses (nice tour buses, with TVs!) and were trucked out to the LA ScienCenter where they had a dance floor, DJ, food and casino set up. I started off playing craps, lost almost all my money (down to 245 from 1000) and then moved over to blackjack to end with 3850. I won a $10 gift certificate to Pacific Theatres. Score.
Next we walked over tot he next building to the IMAX theater. We got to see a special showing of All-Access which was un-freaking-believably cool. By the time Dave Matthews came on, the back two rows had turned into a dance floor. It was so much fun.
For our final stop of the night (well, morning, it was about 1am now), we got back in the buses and drove the hour out to Ontario Mills where we had the entire GameWorks to ourselves, with unlimited passes for all! Gameworks is a kind of crazy combination between an arcade, a disco and a restraunt. There was more than enough to do, and a dance floor in the middle along with a DJ. We were there for like 3 hours, with most of us dropping out as the night got later. Those who snagged the couches early were lucky. At 5am we got back on the buses and most of us napped the whole way back to school where our parents got us at 6am.
Then I got home, fell into bed and woke up at 4pm.
It was a great day.
