Sunog Sunog!! Rah Rah Rah!!!
Who knew that a fire in our building would make me return to writing?? XD
See, we have this quiz in Calculus today and since we are the amazing students that we are, we went to school early so we could have our friends teach us what we don't understand. NOT because we didn't study the night before. Nope! XD
Anyway, we were just doing our thing about 20 minutes before the quiz starts and then suddenly the PA system comes to life. I hate that thing. It makes that really high pitched noise that makes your ears hurt!! Anyway, the PA system comes to life and all of us were looking at it since it wasn't any of those designated times where we would all pray (This is a Catholic institution after all).
The PA goes all "All students please proceed to the fire exits immediately" And all of us jumped and began packing our things because, hey!! No Quiz!! All of us though it was just a fire drill until we smelled the smoke when we were going down.... It was sad actually, we had 2 fire exits + the main stairs but the fire exits were locked at the start. Complete fail. If there was a fire drill exit inspector person that morning AMV would have failed.
Anyway, the fire started at Sticks and Bowls. An indoor grill resto type. Such a shame, I really liked their BBQ's. At least Ate Eva's and Hotshots weren't damaged!! XD
