Poem - Dawson

And it’s incomprehensible

In its obscenity

A life

Removed from the universe

Due to

Darkness

And intangible emotions -

Emotions we will never understand

Blame gets thrown around like a rag doll

Reason is forever elusive in its escape act

We all search for sense

In a valley where sheer insanity prevails

I’ll lay a flower down

And praise its beauty,

Its innocence -

Representing forever a memory

Of life grabbed too soon,

Of victims maimed,

And of chaos holding reign

Over lives continuously searching for meaning.
