Has anyone had 'adventures' they feel like venting about?

... Meaning here, in the Keep, specifically. But I suppose if you've got something weighing you down, feel free to unload. With all the time we have on our hands, why the hell not?

adventure time, like herding elcor, shepard the shepherd

Adventures, you say? What kind?

Any. I'm not picky, I'd just like to know what people have had happen to 'em.

Hmm.

[Sycora takes a few seconds to think. Oh, she's had adventures alright.]

Everyone's had some. Hell, you had one with the spiders, didn't you?

Sure did. Had a good talk after, with. . . Isabel is her name? Yeah, her.

Great chat. We reached an understanding of where the other stood.

[There's a quiet laugh.]

Such "understandings" are commonly reached with her. She's very... diplomatic, shall we say.

[Diplomacy, Shepard is good at. Talented, if you will.

But she did not sign up for Udina-with-tits. Sure, some minor differences there, like how Isabel manages to keep her voice lowered. . . but the vicious maneuvering is there.]

Are the rest of you half as incongruous? No disrespect, I'd like a warning.

No disrespect taken. Duran's a little standoffish, but the rest of us don't bite. Though I'm not opposed to it if requested...

[STARTLED LAUGH]

Wait, aren't you the lady handling our patch jobs? Not worried you'll scare off your wards?

[STARTLED LAUGH? Well okay that was pretty cheesy...]

Nah, I don't mix business and leisure. Nothing to worry about.

[Shepard thinks dancing like a stoned orangutan to attract the attention of a serial killer is a good idea. She's all right with cheesy.]

Riiiight. I hope you'll understand if I'm not looking forward to needing your business, ma'am.

[It is a joke! Ha! Ha! Ha. . .]

You'd be a fool if you did.

[There's a short pause and the sound of shuffling papers. Then:]

It was your friend who I gave the food-medicine, right? Garrus Vakarian?

[And just like that she snaps to attention. Down to business.]

That's right. There are no complications, right?

[It isn't meant to be a threat, but there is a hard edge to her voice nonetheless.]

None that he's told me about. I would have expected him to do so, if there were.

[There is a short pause, and then a sort of doctoral concern colors her tone:]

Have you noticed something odd?

[If Garrus has been having trouble and *not telling her* he will have some 'splainin' to do. And unlike Lucy, he'll catch the worst of her Mama Bear wrath.]

Define odd. It's 'odd' in the first place that something that looks like an Earth-cracker could let him defy the biological constraints imposed on every member of his species.

I suppose. But then this entire situation is 'odd', isn't it?

But I mean, if his behavior has been at all strange, or if you'd noticed any physical effects out of the ordinary. If you haven't, and he's been eating, then everything should be fine.

Been watching him for that reason, and no. No complications.

[Drawn-out pause.] Thank you. He'd be gone by now if you hadn't. . .
