Personality Questions
What are your likes/dislikes?: I like herbal tea (cold or hot), reading, studying, playing video games, watching TV, collecting movies & books, collecting textbooks & reading them/answering chapter questions in them just for fun, cleaning (when I can get up enough energy to do so), playing with my cats (Quincy and Roswell), sleeping, working (depends on the day, who I’m working with, and how many animals are boarding - I work as a kennel attendant at an animal hospital), cosmology, astronomy, physics (mechanical, particle, quantum), chemistry (general, organic, analytical), biology (including virology, bacteriology, mycology, study of symbiosis, genetics, biotechnology, bioethics - yes, I am a huge nerd… I admit it), mechanical engineering, weaponry, guns, swords (multitudes more than guns), sword fighting (I used to do it! Man, I miss those days), horses, horseback riding (dressage, jumping, endurance racing, archery on horseback), archery, storms, severe weather, storm chasing, meteorology. I’ll keep you here even longer if I just continue listing things I like…

My dislikes are generally in the same category as my pet peeves because I spend WAY too much time at work. I also dislike eggplants and crabs (the seafood kind, people - they just really don’t agree with me… at all… ever). Let’s see… think, Christina, think. Hail. I like severe weather in the storm chasing sense (seriously), but I don’t like the hail or tornados that come with it if it’s in the general area of my home. OR those little purple lightning strikes on the Doppler radar (those are BAD people).

What are your fears/dreams?: My fears and dreams. Well, I suppose I dream to live a good life and end it happily when the time naturally comes. I used to dream of being a veterinarian but once I saw the amount of pressure and stress the 8 doctors at our practice are under EVERY DAY I found that my urgent need to become a veterinarian kind of died. I suppose a more practical dream would be to finish this Veterinary Assistant program I’m in and save up enough money to live comfortably while I go to Vet Tech school (so I can focus only on school work and not actual working). After that, I just want a nice, steady job as a tech.

My fears… well, my main one right now (aside from a major phobia of mine) is staying a kennel attendant forever. It’s a good enough position as far as “just saving money” goes, but let’s face it, it’s a dead end job. We’ve been hunting for one new attendant for ages and we’ve gone through three so far. No one wants to be an attendant and 90% of the people who do find they don’t like it two days in.

What are your favorite hobbies?: My favorite hobbies, to make this short, is pretty much listed under my “likes”.

What are your pet peeves?: I dislike procrastination (even though I’m a chronic procrastinator due to chronic exhaustion from working nearly six days a week for 8-9 hours a day), laziness, people who won’t take responsibility for their actions, people who don’t schedule animals correctly in the computer (okay, okay, maybe I’m being a little too nitpicky here, but it takes up about six times as much time as when they do it correctly in the first place), people who don’t flush the toilet, people who get major attitudes for no reason, people who don’t manage time wisely, people who sulk/pout/generally act childish when they don’t get their way, people who cut corners to get stuff done when they want it done (sometimes it’s okay but only under rare circumstances).

Are you a leader or a follower?: I used to be a major follower, but now I’m not so sure anymore. Is there really a middle ground? I mean, I’m a pretty go with the flow person, but I’m ALWAYS (more so in the last three months) being pushed into a leadership position and I don’t really mind it much at all… in fact, I kind of like it.

Describe your personality: I think I’ve talked WAY more than enough to give you all some description of my personality. I talk all the time, I joke around and I am cheerful and happy and try to keep everyone’s mood sky high. Sometimes it works sometimes not. I love animals and most especially my two cats and guinea pig, I’m a goof ball sometimes, self-proclaimed and friend confirmed mad scientist in training. I’m a pretty laid back person and it takes a LOT to piss me off. I mean A LOT (I’ve dealt with a specific co-worker who helped me figure out my pet peeves for close to a year now). Woe betide the person who dares invoke the wrath of the almighty Christina, though, as you will not be able to be stuffed into a thimble.

What would you do if you found $100 on the side of the road and didn't know who it belonged to?: Since I’m a nice person full of love and integrity I’d take it to the cops and say that I found this on _______ street or whatever (even though I’m in dire need of $100 right about now). If no one claims it… then Christina is rich! If the cops yank it, bad karma on them and the middle finger and if the person claims it again… be careful with your money pal. Next time someone as much of a sucker as I am won’t find it, I guarantee it.
