So my anatomy and physiology teacher was talking about starvation today and the body's need for nutrients, and this girl raised her hand and asked:
"Well, how long can a person live without water? Because in the bible it said Jesus went for 40 days and nights without eating or drinking."
Well played, my hindu professor said "well, for average people you can't live more than a week or so without water."
But still. FACEPALM.
