well all in all today was a good day.
long story short for the region audition. 7th chair. what does that mean? i made the top band for region. and i advanced to the area band. both really really good things. i'm really proud of myself. it just feels good to get something back for the work. luckily for me, this work is fun!!
yeah thats that. my parents are really proud, my friends are happy about it too. Jacy says shes proud of me. that makes me feel good deep down.
i don't do it for the praise. i do it for the music, it's an art not a sport. and theres no argument there. (unless its a marching band we're discussing, thats different because it's a psudo-sport).
Have you ever wanted to say something, but you're not sure if it's ready to be heard? or if you're even ready to say it anyway? and you don't even really know what it means for sure? but through all that you still kinda want to say it anyway?
*shrug* go figure. food for thought.
