TINY TITANS WAS THE BEST. still kinda bitter that they cancelled it, sigh.
i've actually not read a whole lot of superman! i really should. i have all-star superman downloaded because i've heard that's a pretty good starting place but i'll def have to look into the others you mentioned. right now i'm sort of stuck in the bat-books and the teen titans. i keep meaning to read more wonder woman books too and it just...never seems to happen, even though i've been recced greg rucka's stories (and i love greg rucka!). i tried reading the dcnu version and that...lasted up until the dramatic reveal that the amazons were secretly man-killers, ugh.
and i definitely haven't read a whole lot of marvel. like, i read the beginning of x-factor, and it was awesome, but i never read more of it. i really should though haha. i think i still have, um, new mutants downloaded? or something like that.
i think red robin isn't really my *favorite* version of tim, but i like chris yost's run characterization-wise (plotwise it's a bit of a mess haha). and it is kinda helping me figure out which way is up for my big bang.
Agree with your comments on RED ROBIN. Every. Single. Issue was in media res & sometimes, I'd have to re-read the previous issue to remember salient points. That said, TIM. Also TAM.
I really want to collect more of Cass!Batgirl & Steph!Batgirl. I love BOP any time Simone gets her sticky hands on them. The Batgirls rock. Ooooh, and Secret Six. I need all of Secret Six. And Gotham Central.
GOSH I LOVE TAM. My story is an au of the events after Bruce's death, and I couldn't figure out how to include Tam, but that was unacceptable, so I shuffled things around until I could fit her in haha.
Oh god, yes. I just want to collect everything, it's pathetic. I want Batman & Huntress: Cry for Blood so bad. Oh, and--I assume you like Renee bc Gotham Central (also bc who doesn't)--have you read Pipeline?
And I actually think Birthright is a better starter then All-Star. All-Star is very quaint, playing up a lot of Silver Age/Golden Age tropes. It's bookended by a fantastic beginning & an awesome ending though. Birthright, OTOH, is more an origin story with lovely, light-handed but clear introductions to all the Superman players in their present day (or pre-DCnU) characterisations.
