R.I.P. Joanne Siegel dies at 93
One of Jerry Siegel's inspirations for Lois Lane died this morning. Joanne Siegel posed for a sketch that would eventually become Lois Lane hence Lois Joanne Lane. Decades later, they married. She supported all his endeavors while he was alive & fought for his rights as a creator after he died.
Rest in peace, ma'am. You were an inspiration for today's greatest icons: Superman, Lois Lane, Joe Shuster & Jerry Seigel.
