Wow, as always, your reviews astound, delight and humble me. I mean, WOW. You really put a lot of thought into them and for that I thank you so very much. I'd like to answer questions and comment on statements.

The Prompt you chose is fucking amazing, which right now, sounds way better than saying just ‘amazing’, ‘awesome’ or ‘great’
-- No need to apologize for written expletives. I don't like them as much spoken but written isn't as harsh. I have no idea why I feel this way.

the anonymous girl with the red coat in Schindler’s List.
-- Huh. That never crossed me mind. That's kind of cool. This is why I like detailed reveiws; the interaction of my writing with the reader's perceptions make the story more.

Re: review part II (yes, it ended up being frikkin' long) xenokattz September 28 2009, 14:55:27 UTC
Is this SV/Comic Lois?
-- It's comic!Lois with added drama. *cough* I couldn't find enough info about Ella/Ellen/Elinore Lane and I really haven't been collecting DC comics for very long so I didn't know a lot about her. I liked how Lois grew up trying to prove herself to a strict military father who wanted a boy and thought that would work better without a mother figure (a la SV) so I shoved it in there. It's comics. It'll retcon. ;)

I missed in the present Lois (at least in the first part of the fic) another sense of injustice and frustration that should be pointed out more directly, and it is the fact that these weapons she is seeing, the war we are told to be in, it involves the USA and makes her an indirect involuntary responsible party

Taking that you told me once you’re not much into politics, it is f-- it is great what you decide to do it in a fic. Is it some kind of challenge? ‘let’s do something I’m not normally prone to do or I don’t really like doing’?

-- I'm actually quite interested in socioeconomics and politics both domestic and international. What I don't like is blatant preaching or soapboxing in literature. Lois grew up military (with all the pros and cons of that life) and she's now a star reporter for the comicbook equivalent of the New York Times (which has been charged with being too leftist and too rightist within the same time frame). Her political opinions must be complex. However, I don't want to present MY opinion of her opinions; I ( ... )

BTW, is Thomas Wayne his father
--- Yup! Wayne Industries is a Very Large Corporation and it would only make sense that they'd own pharmaceutical companies especially since drugs bring in cash like WHOA. However, I thought someone like Thomas Wayne, a doctor and a philanthropist, would try to direct that industry into ethically-directed business practices.

The playlist came along easily after reading, and ended up in an eleven songs compilation.
-- Yay, music sharing! I will download it with glee!
