Here via a link in jedi_news to say that this is a brilliant crossover. I'm in love with this and now maintain that it ought to be canon darn it. :D I love your Mal and how Han obviously looks up to him. Awesome!

Thank you kindly! I wish I could take all of the credit but [info]baruchan gave the prompts (1. Han Solo and Mal Reynolds; 2. such a pilgrimage were sweet; 3. Ding Dong! Merrily on High) were the inspiration. Even if I did yell "WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO WRITE ARRGGHHH!?!?" at the monitor for a few hours. *L*
