My guilty past caught up with me today; I got an email from a SCAdian in Arizona who made a gorget based on the
pattern I made a few years back when I was in the
SCA.

Success being it's own punishment he's been told to put it in an Arts and Sciences Competition. Unfortunately the best suggestion I could make was that he document the designs on the leather-work, because the original gorget is a rip-off of a late-period metal gorget style. I have no idea of whether any actually like that in leather was ever used during the medieval period, I just wanted something that was practical and not completely ugly. If you know of anything like it, let me know and I'll pass it on.
