The Random Activities Guide

Nov 08, 2005 15:33

Earlier this year, about the time I was linking to a lot of old projects from my journal, I mentioned an archery guide that I wrote and put up on the NZ SCA website before it became the SCA NZ Inc. site (after the SCA was incorporated in NZ). Now that it serves a different purpose, that article isn't there anymore (which is fair enough). I've been wanting to put it up somewhere else for a while.

Having had the bright idea that I could fix the offending photograph with the magic of the GIMP, I've established what I call the Random Activities Guide over at my Ministry of Confusion site, and put the archery article there. I also put up another copy of my article on making kites there, and I'll probably put copies of other projects there in general. It depends.

In unrelated news, I've got a job interview tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Edit: Those of you on the other side of the world might not know yet that Rod Donald, co-leader of the New Zealand Green Party, died suddenly in the weekend. People have of course had a lot to say about this, along the lines of what a nice guy he was (no, I'm not going to disagree just to be contrary, I'm a greenie myself these days). Anyway, I think this cartoon sums it up best:

Edit II: Hey Laura, have a look at this and this!
