kim -- radiohead was so fucking fantastic. the show was very okcomputer-heavy, and that's okay by me. i'd hoped they'd play a bit more from thebends, but you can't have everything, can you? i think i fell in love with thom yorke. okay, so we're sitting there, enjoying a few beers, thinking that there's still an opening act so we've got plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful scenery that is stone mountain and spy the crowd a bit. . . you know, see who belongs and who doesn't. we're sitting there, not in very good view of the stage, but good enough for an opening act, and a band of men come rushing onto the stage. we all freeze for a second, not wanting to be the first to blurt, "hey, isn't that radiohead?!??!," when the first chord of National Anthem comes barrelling through the speakers and into our collective ears. well, you know we wouldn't let radiohead start singing us a song to keep us warm without having a clear view of the stage, so we all ran, yes ALL RAN to the center of the crowd where we had set up blanket and scouts to keep us place whilst we got our drink on. the rest, as they say, is history. the playlist was amazing and they had great energy and were really into the crowd. go to cindylou's livejournal:

i am so fucking jealous of you guys. and what do you mean that you think you fell inlove with thom yorke? haven't you known that he is a god of the highest ratings?
i am glad that you had a fantastic time. i just wish i could have been there. i think i will be in your neighborhood around the 20th of this month, so if you aren't doing anyhting.....
