Grade 5
I had my violin exam today...meep. It didn't go brilliantly, I played my pieces ok but I'm not too confident over my scales and my singing was definitely out of tune ^^ Also, all the stuff I'd learnt for my aural was useless and I was asked questions which I didn't know the answers too, so I guessed...oh well, never mind. Also, after Easter I'll have ANOTHER different violin teacher, which is a shame, I quite liked Mr Rhodes, he's awesome, he arranged my exam and came all the way to play the piano for me even though none of his other pupils have exams and he's only my subsitute. I'm hoping my new teacher's nice, apparantly it's a woman, so we'll have to see ^^
I'm off on another science trip! I'm really obsessed with science, aren't I? ^^ Sarah, Tim and me are off to Hull uni on the 25th April to do some sort of Chemistry competition against other schools...it's supposed to be for people with good practical skills...we're going to die XD But free sandwiches, I wouldn't miss it for the world ^^ Come to think of it, last time I went to Hull uni they fed us for free as well, how generous of them! I've been on so many trips this year, it's amazing, we looked at Hull uni, went to CRODA, went to York uni to look at microscopes, now I'm off back to Hull for Chemistry and we've been promised a Biology trip to the seaside after our exams ^^ Science is amazing ^____^
I've finished my open book paper too, I'm really smug, I managed to get exactly 1000 words, which is the limit, admittedly, I had to fiddle around with it a bit to get exactly 1000, but that's a secret, as far as everyone else is concerned, it happened by itself ^^ Just my History and Biology coursework to worry about now and I've nearly finished both! Then it's the Easter holidays, Easter eggggggggggggs XD I can't wait!
I've also changed my layout for the first time ever! I should probably either learn html or get a fancy customized one, but I'm a lazy person, it's much more fun not to. Though if I upgraded to a plus I could have more styles to choose from...nah! I quite like my new one, mostly because of the way it fitted so nicely with my journal title ^^
