Exam results
Well, I got my results for my January exams today. Oh yay. I didn't do very well in History, I got a C, and although I'm disappointed, I'm not surprised because I spent too much time on the first question which was worth hardly any marks. I did terrible for Chemistry too, another C, and that's the grade which really hurts because I wanted to do well on that exam. I did find it difficult when I took that exam, but I hadn't thought that I'd only get a C. So I'm going to resit those two and hope I do better, I'm going to put a lot more work in this time. But there is good news, I got an A for Maths ^^ That makes me happy, 91/100. My form tutor also told me that he's read my reports and apparantly my Maths report is the worst (I get them tomorrow) so that shows them ^^ I reckon my maths teacher hates me anyway, he always picks on me because I don't talk in his lessons, he doesn't seem to think I can learn if I don't say anything. I wish I had the same teacher I had last year. But whatever, I don't care about him.
Oh well, let's not talk about that. I have my Open book on Monday for Chemistry, so I've got that to worry about. It's basically just writing a massive essay on two articles that we're given. Actually, I'm exaggerating, it's not a massive essay, it's 800-1000 words and that's a lot less than I have to do for my History coursework. Which I'll go do some work on in a minute, whilst I remember ^^
Yesterday was fun! For some reason Jimmy didn't want me to throw his shoe out of the farm window so we had a little fight over that ^^ He didn't get it off me for ages, I didn't want to give it up! But I lost in the end...I also got beaten up by my sister in karate, I'm covered in bruises now! But I hit her too, I just don't have as much energy and I'm not as fast. I should probably run around more, it'll do me good ^^
Oh yeah, before I forget, it looks like I'm going to be doing something other than lazing around all summer this year! I applied for work experience at some laboratories in York but I didn't say anything because I wasn't feeling particularly hopeful as spaces are limited, but I got a message on the answerphone a few days ago asking to ring back and confirm what dates I can work ^^ So I called back and the woman I need to speak to is busy, but she should be ringing me back any time now, so I'm looking forward to that.
