It's interesting how men seem to view women completely differently than women realize.

Actually, I think it's an attention to detail thing - people just notice radically different things that you think are obvious. At least according to my shrink.

She and I have both experimented on our partners - left large, incongruous objects in a very visible place, and neither noticed. My daughter, on the other hand, seems to be very attentive - mommy, you cut your hair! Mommy, you're wearing different earrings! Takes after me, I guess.
