Howdy everyone. How's it goin'? Happy Thanksgiving to each and every one of you.
I haven't been on here for a while, so I figured I'd stop by and catch up on everyone lives and drop a line here or there.
Life's goin' pretty well right now. Can't really say that I can complain. I'm living with Ann and JP again, but it's really not that bad. Just got cable and interweb a couple of weeks ago, which is exciting. Now I can waste my life away in front a series of images on a screen. I have recently fallen back in love with the shows Family Guy, Dagrassi, Project Runway, The Colbert Report, and Heroes, among the various movies that I can catch.
I saw Across the Universe recently in the theatre. I believe it was a cinematic masterpiece, and could honestly watch it over and over again.
I've become really close friends with our new neighbors that live just diagonally from us: Tippy, Sylva, Mark, Zack, Derrick, and Drew. We pretty much have an open door policy between the two apartments, within reason. And we look after each other's stuff. Actually, two of them, Zack and Sylva, are coming over tomorrow for Thanksgiving. It should be a lot of fun.
I also have some pretty close friends from work: Adam, Eric, Stephen, and James (Just to name the closest.) This is really the first time in my adult life that I've had friends that I didn't live, in which we hang out on a regular basis. Well, friends that I've made on my own, that weren't from school. And I've come to realize that I must be a lot more mature then I've been giving myself credit for. Either that or these men are really juvenile. Let's see.....
Adam:37 Eric:32 Stephen:24 James:23.
Unfortunately not everything is picture perfect. My mom's been having some problems lately, and I'm doing everything I can to be there for her. Her best friend's dad just died this past Sunday, and she's in Louisiana helping them get through it. Also, another of her best friends who live in Houston just recently got put into the hospital for Esophageal Cancer. The just a feeding tube in and it doesn't look like it's coming out. And lastly, my mom's boyfriend's daughter just had triplets, two months early, and they couldn't save a single one.
So I'm trying to help her get through all of the tragedies that have occurred in the past week.
What's really sad is that she just pointed out to me not too long ago that she's known seven people that have passed away from some sort of cancer (each a different kind) since the beginning year. How tragic is that?
Well, that's just a basic rundown of my life right now. I really miss all you, though. So if you're ever in North Dallas (Lovers Ln/University area) drop me a line and we can hang out or something. My phone number is 4695249146. I really do miss y'all and I hope to hear from you soon.
Fare thee all the most very best and well.
