Great week, but tired. . .

Wow - this is the first time that I have been on the internet since Monday morning. This whole week has been so busy - good, but busy.

Job Update: My job kicks serious ass! For one thing, I'm doing what I like (mapping). But aside from that, I get to wear jeans to work, can listen to my walkman while doing my work, and I have a nice flexible schedule. As long as I get 30-34 hours a week, they aren't too picky as to when I have to be there. My co-workers are great people - which is so refreshing. I'm the second youngest person there (one guy is probably a year younger than me). It's mostly older women (mid-40s) and men (40s-60s).

Overall, I'm VERY happy that I got this job.

I also started my Spanish class this week and I think I'm going to get a lot out of it. There are only about 5 people in the class, so its both intimate and intense. What makes it even better (for me) is that the instructor is a native speaker from Mexico. I find that when I take a spanish class from a native Spanish-speaker, I tend to learn a lot more.

In other words, I've had a fantastic week. Last night I watched the presidential debate with a group of friends - and all I can say is that Kerry did much, much, much better than Bush did in the debate. I thought that they would be pretty evenly matched (in debate skills), but for whatever reason, Bush was just flopped. Even my Bush-loving friends agreed with me on that. Personally, I can't stand either one of the idiots and I can't wait for this election to be over with. I'm so sick of how childish they both have been acting during this election season. Both sides have been so damn childish. And I'm really sick of Kerry and Bush's patronizing speeches - urgh. Okay, not going into a political rant because once I start it's hard for me to stop. I will say that I do know who I am going to vote for, and while I don't like the guy - I've made my decision.

Anyway, I'm tired - need a nap.
