It feels late because Laurna went to bed early - I am hoping to follow her example very soon. Just got to get some dishes done.
Qualifying exam is rapidly approaching. Totally petrified. Hope to get at least a draft of my talk done by the end of this weekend. Wishful thinking? I really hope not. I will feel SO much better if I'm that much closer. I know I'm going to have to brush up on some background information as well as look up some references, and that would be much easier to do if I knew what I was proposing to talk about.
I still don't want to do a practice talk. I mean, I REALLY don't want to. It would be pretty idiotic not to, though, so I should make myself do it. I really don't want to, though (in case I haven't mentioned it).
New desktop. Trying it out by running a bootstrap. Hope it's fast!!
