On maternity leave...sort of
So April 1 was my first official day of maternity leave from work. Unfortunately I have a couple of things remaining to finish, and I'm procrastinating a bit, so I don't really feel "free"...but I'm pretty close! Of course, I still have work to do on my research and I'm determined to file my thesis before the baby comes, so I don't get to do the full-time nesting thing yet. At least I have made some progress cleaning up the house, though not all that much. I hope this baby will be cooperative and not come before I've had a chance to catch up on things, ha ha. Hear that, baby girl? You're too young to be defying your parents already...
