4 weeks to go! ...well, maybe
I'm feeling perky and awake, which is definitely nice. I stayed up too late reading Saturday night, which meant I was totally exhausted yesterday - but the good news about that was that I slept quite soundly. I only had to get up once. What a treat!
Time is marching along, with the due date moving closer and closer. I'm glad. I'm curious to see what this whole labor/delivery/baby thing is all about. :o)
Went down to visit my parents with Brandon and Laurna yesterday for my mom's 60th birthday shindig. It was fun! My dad made her a "cake" out of popcorn balls, and my aunt Kathryn brought down a whole cooked pig. We also ate a huge salad courtesy of my aunt Karen (maker of the yummiest salads I know). All in all it was a great visit, despite my 3-year-old cousin's ear-splitting angry screams when she had to go home...man, angry screaming makes my skin crawl. Fun times with parenthood ahead, eh? :o) (Of course, I doubt anyone actually *likes* angry screaming, so yeah...)
