I went to see HeyChris yesterday. It was incredible.
It was supposed to be at a coffee shop but it was so crowded that we went out into the park across the street. It was so cute haha. and a scary homeless man came and sat with us. It was also pretty funny when this ghetto guy was blasting rap music and was like having convulsions while he screamed along.
Chris is such a beautiful speaker and every word that falls from his mouth keeps you captivated.
He tells stories that may be embarrassing or show his insecurities, but its amazing that he accepts it and is even willing to share it with others; everything he says is something EVERYONE can connect to. Everyone has felt left out at some point in their life. And most of the people there found the same solace in punk rock music.
At the end, Chris took questions. I told him he had amazing diction and he was like "no one's ever said that to me before; thank you!" haha. although hes on my shit list because he likes Backstreet Boys better than NSync LOL.
I bought "A Life Deliberate." It's amazing. I also think i'm going to order the "Life Deliberate" shirt with his face on it offline hahaha.
