Summing up the year in 38 questions...
I promised I'd write in my LJ more often but it's already been 2 weeks since my first entry. I couldn't write the first in part because of Thailand but I should've written something the second week at least about Thailand but I've needed time to settle down after Bangkok so I don't write something that I'll regret. So my next entry will be about Bangkok because I want to post about my experience there, even though it was a horrible one.

01. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before?
I started university
02. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
No... I never keep my NYR because I only make them half-heartedly. Next year though I'll make one and I am determined to stick to it otherwise nothing will change.
03. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No, but someone close to me gave birth late last year and I only found out about it when I saw her this January. Does that count? She's such a BEAUTIFUL mother. I'm so happy for her!!!
04. Did anyone close to you die?
Thank goodness, no.
05. What countries did you visit?
South Korea and Thailand.
06. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
Self-discipline with my finances and my health
07. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
November 25th- December 2nd. This was the week I was stranded in Bagnkok due to the civil unrest. I learnt a lot about myself, my family and friends. I had been looking forward to going for such a long time and then it turned out to be a complete disaster. I've never felt so many emotions in one week, mostly bad ones at that. I hope I never have to go through something like that alone again.
08. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Finishing my first year of university
09. What was your biggest failure?
Not saving enough money.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
I got a really bad cold in Novmber just before I was to go overseas. I had it for a fortnight T.T
11. What was the best thing you bought?
A black jacket in Seoul for winter. It's so snug, I love it!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
All my friends and family when I was in Bangkok, they really supported me through the whole ordeal. Especially my Mum, Dad, big sister and friend Kelly who didn't sleep all week trying to organise getting me home.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
My ex-best friend.
14. Where did most of your money go?
To St George and the NAB.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Going back to South Korea (before I postponed to 2009)
16. What song will always remind you of 2008?

Yes. Maybe not hate, that's too strong a word, but definitely a strong dislike. I've NEVER had abig argument with someone like that before. I felt so drained afterwards but it was 7 years of bottled frustration, let downs and being taken advantage of that I just counldn't let simmer any longer.

I can't remember... BUT IT WAS REALLY GOOD!! I dont want to write down the wrong title and author so I'll edit this question later after I find out!
25. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Big Bang
26. What did you want and get?
I can't think of anything this year that I REALLY wanted and got....

A holiday to Seoul, South Korea...... TT TT TT TT TT
28. What was your favorite film of this year?
I didn't go to the movies that much this year because I was too busy... But I really loved Get Smart. Probably my favourite film of the year. I didn't expect it to be as funny as it was. Anne Hathaway is sooo beautiful and such an engaging actress. Steve Carell was as funny as hell!!
29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 23 and I had a nice family dinner then I went out to one of my best friends gigs. She was absolutely amazing and she gave me a shout out, and told everyone to buy me a drink. It was a really good night!
30. What one thing made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Finding people who shared my love of Korean music and pop-culture.
31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2008?
Skinny jeans, heals and an elegant top to dress it up. (I love my red heals!)
32. What kept you sane?
Hope
33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Jensen Ackles (Dean from Supernatural). He's too good looking for his own good. My older sister and I can't help but drool when he's on the TV.
34. What political issue stirred you the most?
The civil unrest in Thailand.
35. Who did you miss?
Lydia (Why do you have to live in Melbourne woman? WHY??!!) and my darlings Widya, Betty and other fellow K-Pop ladies. I wish we all didn't live so far away from each other!
