There are so many things I just love about this part. The start is just typical Hudmels, Kurt and Carole snarking with each other, and Finn and Kurt doing the united front or as I like to call it, lapsing into the double Hudmel bitch face attack. Does Carole have any idea at all, because she must have noticed the changes in both her boys?

Kurt tries to find a shady spot at each exhibit in which to stand, but in those few moments as they walk from one exhibit to the next, Finn marvels at how Kurt seems to outshine the sun.God, this is a beautiful line

Or my image of fourteen year-old Puck and Finn saying, "this is lame, we're too old for the zoo," like teenage boys do, but watching the apes and Puck saying something like, "free porn!" and them being really crass.

Then Carole being a basketball badass (she's probably better than Finn *cough*) and the winning things, because you KNOW he has experience of that from Rachel wanting every beanie baby in the claw machine.

I always have trouble with Rachel, which is odd, because her speech pattern and behaviour are eerily similar to eighteen year-old me.

Which was why the 8k of Rachel sidefic shall not be seeing the light of day. But, I definitely want to play in this universe if you'll let me. :)
