well, goddamn it.
Interesting last couple of days.
Yesterday I got a new job and today someone stole my wallet.
EDIT: I just got a call from my grandma that someone found my wallet! The man that found it called a random number that was stuck in my wallet which happened to be my step-grandpa's son. He called my uncle, my uncle called my grandma, and my grandma called me. Turns out this kind stranger found my wallet on the ground on his street. Twenty-one miles from where it was stolen. He told me that all the cash was gone but the cards were still there. I told him that there wasn't any cash, lol. So it all ended well... except I had already cancelled my credit cards. *facepalm*
EDIT AGAIN: Actually, it wasn't my wallet. My stuff was piled with another woman's stuff and it was her wallet he found. I got back the important stuff: driver's license, credit cards, debit cards, my Barnes & Noble discount card (that would have really been a tragedy), etc. I sorted my things from the other woman's things and called her to make arrangements to return it. She says she had had $1000 in her wallet!! All I lost was about $45 in gift cards to Hasting's and Victoria's Secret and my super-cool, Kenneth Cole Reaction wallet. At least they had taste. :-)
