First game!
It's that time of year again. My baseball season has begun. We began in a GREAT way, with a WIN!. We won 11-6. We were the visitor's, so we batted first. We scored 2 in the first inning, then they scored 6. Well that was all they scored. We scored at least one run in every inning.
I caught and pitched tonight, and I did very well with my pitching. I didn't allow a single run. My batting was good too. I went 3 for 3 tonight. A single, a walk, and 2 doubles. Though the first double should have been at least a triple, but it went under the fence, so it was a ground rule double. So I am batting 1000 right now.
It was chilly tonight, and playing with tonsillitus is not good, but I still had lots of fun. Looking forward to tomorrow night's game.
