Chocolate Box 2020
Sorry this is late, I expected to stop coughing at some point in the past few days but then I didn't. Anyway, here's my letter!
When specific prompts are given, they're generally more intended as guidance/brainstorming help than being ideas that I'm really married to, so feel free to disregard them entirely. Most of the stuff I like has very little fic and I am consequently super easy to please. If I say I'd like anything at all that you want to write about a particular ship, I really do mean it (barring inclusion of DNWs, obviously).
General likes: established romantic relationships, bittersweetness, hurt/comfort, canon-divergence AUs, non-mundane genre AUs, crossdressing, loyalty and lady/knight sort of dynamics, battle couples, characters protecting each other/saving each other's lives (in pretty much any context, not necessarily battle), action/casefic/etc. A-plot with romance B-plot or vice versa, smut featuring characters over 16
General DNWs: non-canon pregnancy or kidfic, fic heavily focused on children/parenting, issuefic, death of requested characters unless they're dead in canon, fic primarily focused on one of the requested characters being dead in canon, noncon, mundane AUs, crossovers, vore or guro (as kinks), non-requested non-canon ships (including poly ships that involve the requested ship plus one or more other characters), non-requested canon ships as a major focus of the fic, smut featuring characters under 16 (unless aged up), characters' genders being different from canon unless otherwise specified (though e.g. writing a female character as a trans woman would be okay with me)
I'm requesting fanfic in all the below fandoms. Any POV or tense is fine; my only stylistic request is that there be proper capitalization, because I find things easier to read that way.
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn
Heather/Nephenee: I had them support each other in Radiant Dawn even though Heather is useless, because what kind of loser chooses supports based on gameplay utility rather than shipping? All this to say, I'm not sure how much of my impression of their dynamic comes from the interplay of their generic support dialogue, but I enjoy Heather doing her suave flirty rogue thing and Nephenee being flustered because it's not that she doesn't like it, but she has no idea how to respond. Since she's self-admittedly not good with words, I would love to see her trying to find another way to demonstrate her feelings to Heather.
Sigrun/Tanith: Sigrun and Tanith have the sort of good-cop-bad-cop dynamic going on, where Sigrun is the "nice one" and Tanith is the "fierce one" but they're both, in their different ways, very duty-oriented. And I think that's interesting from a shipping perspective because I feel like it's both (a) integral to why they have the foundation of affection and respect that could turn into a romantic relationship and (b) a huge obstacle to that relationship actually becoming romantic, if that makes sense. Considering this, you don't necessarily have to go all the way to getting them together in 200 words--I would be happy to just see a charged moment or two between them.
Nier: Automata
2B/6O: 6O is adorable and I enjoyed the way she and 2B bounced off each other in the earlier parts of the game! I would love to see 6O trying to flirt with 2B during a mission and 2B pretending not to notice because Feelings Are Forbidden (but, of course, secretly enjoying it in a very conflicted way).
2B/A2: So okay, there's no point in canon at which they're both alive and there isn't antagonism going in at least one direction. But you could do a slight AU where events somehow force them to work together (a trope I love for more antagonistic ships!), you could work out a post-canon thing where everyone's consciousnesses are successfully transported to a new planet, orrrrrr you could just have A2 having weird sexy dreams about 2B, who kind of lives in her head now.
A2/Anemone: I just got very ex-like vibes from them, you know? I'd love to explore their backstory together more. In a fic set in the game's present day or future, I'm happy with them getting back together, wistfully thinking of what they had/could have had but there's just too much baggage to go anywhere with it now, or not actually having been together in the past but having wanted to be.
Devola/Popola: I absolutely loved the text-based bit about their memories, and, uh, didn't find it very platonically sisterly. I especially enjoy how fiercely protective Popola is of Devola! I would love to see more of their time wandering from settlement to settlement being hated by everyone--there's a lot of opportunity for further h/c there, or just the two of them having a nice moment together in the midst of their general hardship.
Nier Gestalt
Kainé/Yonah: I'm usually more flexible about where fics are set in the timeline, but in this case I am really mostly interested in post-Ending D stuff. I'd love to see the connection they have based on someone neither of them remembers develop into a more genuine connection, and to see them carve out just a little bit of happiness and peace for themselves, as much as that's possible in that world.
Persona 5
Niijima Makoto/Okumura Haru: I was sold on this as soon as Haru said that Makoto looked good in her biker outfit, honestly. During-canon fic is great, and I'd also be interested in near-future fic--what happens when they go to university? How do they support each other in dealing with their respective legacies and ambitions?
Revue Starlight
For either ship here, I'd enjoy post-canon fic. I feel like the series kind of ends on a big "what now?" because it's been demonstrated that the system these girls have built their lives around is both artificial (i.e. not something that necessarily has to exist) and damaging, but, you know, they've built their lives around it, so what do they do with that? Feel free to toss Re LIVE canon out the window here.
Daiba Nana/Hoshimi Junna: It's implied that not much changed in the time loops Nana lived through before the one where Karen jumped into the duels, but her relationship with Junna can't have been exactly the same every time, if only because with each loop the gap between what Nana knows/has experienced and what Junna knows/has experienced gets bigger. I'd love something exploring that aspect of their relationship.
Saijou Claudine/Tendou Maya: I adore rivals-to-lovers, and while we pretty much get that whole arc in the show, I'd love to see that rival dynamic persist into their romantic relationship. Like, by the end of the show, they've clearly talked some things out and they're trying, but old habits die hard, you know? Claudine aggressively trying to be a better girlfriend than Maya (just in general, or better at romantic occasions like Valentine's Day/Christmas/their anniversary, or better at sex, or whatever) would be A+.
