Horseshow!
Hey guys. Well today was fun! I woke up at 10:00 and then at 10:30 took a shower. Afterwards I got dressed and put on my makeup and somehow it took me like a hour 30 min. So then i went downstairs and got my boots on,my gloves,etc. and then rachel came. We went to the horseshow. With our luck, of course, it was raining! We stood there for like a hour and got really cold so we went and got some hot chocolate, burnt our tongues, and watched more classes. The first class we saw Jacki K. was in! I had no idea it was her! Afterwards I was sitting there with rachel watching kierstens class and Jacki came by and was like "JORDAN!" and patted me on the head (haha okay?) and then asked when i was riding so she can watch me tomorrow. oh god. lol. Kiersten was on one of our show horses named Callways Off the Record (aka Will). He looked SO CUTE! The people behind us went 'omg he's going to be the next race horse.' haha because kiersten was cantering him and she lost her stirrups so she just kept cantering him while he was going EXTREMELY fast. He was faster than everyone in there! He is such a showy horse though, he's adorable! So there were 9 people in her class, and she placed 5th. We thought she should have gotten better but she still had an awesome ride. Then steph drove in some roadster pony class with her pony Broadmore (i don't know his barn name). There were only 2 people. Her horse kept breaking but he still looked so cute! She got 2nd though, but she still did well! Rachels mom told us this lady she was talking to was like 'omg you ride at Richlon Farms? They have some HIGH CLASS horses! wow!' haha. loser! So then somehow the show ended sooner than we thought. We went and got all the horses tacked up and then we got on. Wiz was being so good! Steph owns him too, and she got on him and rode him up and he bucked a couple times but when i got on i think he was over that. The first time we cantered he slipped so I had to tell him to canter again but other than that he was fine. The second way of the ring he shyed at a trashcan, so i had to change my diagnol AGAIN, but he was so cute! <3 i love him! haha he is lazy though... you have to make him go. I totally forgot how to hold the reins on a double bridle (i haven't ridden with one in SO long) so when this girl got on and they showed her how to I was like 'omg i remember now! haha i feel so dumb!' and this kid, alex, was like 'i know how to all the time'. i was like bastard don't mess with me. he's like this little 5th or 6th grader with a huge attitude problem and ask rachel, he thinks he's better than everyone else and doesn't do ANY work. he treats the older girls like slaves. ahhh. then he got on and couldn't figure out how to hold the reins either..HA HA. lol. So then after we rode we went to taco bell and ate and then i just got home. I have to clean my boots, get out all my clothes, get out my show make-up, see if i still have my gloves, get directions, tell my dad the time he has to pick me up from who-knows-where (he's probably with his girlfriend... :-/) and all that crap. I have SO much to do! luckly, i don't have a saddle anymore, i sold it, so I don't need to clean any tack! That's about all for now. Tomorrow I'm showing in w/t/c _____ pleasure SOME AGE. HAHA. I thought I was showing in 14-17 but I'm not. I'm confused. haha. OH WELL. I'm the first class of the day, meaning I have to get there early. I'm nervous as hell even though he was perfect today! WISH ME LUCK!!! I'll need it!!
reminder to myself: don't forget to set wiz's head tomorrow or you'll definetly get counted off for that. <-- he doesn't set his head often so it's a little hard. he has a bad headset but he's really perky and cute.
