What

What

is having sex.
is the sun and dead stars, creating everything out of hydrogen long ago.
is the idea that we are all alive and we do share bonds because we all come from the same place if you go back far enough.
is time.
is all of us, sleeping a part of the same being moving through an uncharted dimension together that we can't see.

i'm an existentialist, and being an existentialist doesn't necessarily mean that you don't believe in god, but the more i think about it, the less sense theism seems to make. i believe in free will, because i think that we have the power to decide what kind of people we turn out to be. if we only believed that, we make the most of what we're given and stop whining about having no control over the world.

have you read buber? if not, you should. some of it is really too flowery and poetic to be coherent in a philosophical way, but a lot of it is really cool.

yeah, he's the one.

if by writing you mean "writing crappy emo songs on the guitar", then i suppose i'm still writing. i'm convinced that i don't have talent for poetry or prose, so i guess the most recent creative writing that i've done is in my german class.

hey drook i thought u said u werent gonna write anymore. but it makes me happy to read your ramblings.
and i believe we are all this "god" you speak of, a collective consciencnous which has neither unlimited power nor enslavement to a higher god. buddhism, by the way, would tell you its all the same void.
hope i find you soon- have fun poking painful things through your body.

ps- i woke up at 630 am this morning only to discover, in the shower, that today is in fact, a MONDAY not a wednesday, and therefore i don't have to be at work. i could have slept in. instead, i'm responding to your lj. hmph.
