Immortal Beloved: Gen. 1.4 (Part Three)

Apr 14, 2008 17:55

During her stay at La Fiesta Tech, the self-proclaimed Future Pollination Technician Stella Terrano often wrote in a diary.  In it, she kept many notes on her research and her general feelings about the inhabitants of the "alien" world around her.

Oh dear me, I seem to have neglected my research for seven whole Sim-earth days!
This is completely absurd, for I have not ever done so.  No matter, I shall continue documenting my studies and do not have to update them on a regular basis since I am only keeping this log for myself.

I believe I can sum up my latest experiences with one sentence, in a way I can imagine a particular Sim saying it.  "Whoa, this has been a fucking crazy week!"  I wouldn't say that out loud of course, but the native language and customs of the Sims are growing on me.

I find it rather humorous that I could not even tolerate the faint smell of them when I first landed here, and now I catch myself acting like one of them.  Actually. it's been happening a little too frequently I'm afraid.  In fact...  I've become rather fond of one.

See?  I'm doing it right now!  Those selfish natives, always talking about themselves...  This is a log for my research; not my deepest and darkest thoughts!  Now where was I...  Oh yes, I remember now.

La Fiesta Tech, or LFT as most natives call it, was definitely the perfect destination to go to if one wants to study Sim anatomy.  In fact, some of the inhabitants voluntarily show theirs off.

Anyway, Van has continued to be the greatest subject I have ever studied.  She currently has a total of three potential mates.

Though all of them are quite attractive in their own unique way, I believe that Ripp Grunt would produce the best looking offspring.

I have mentioned this to her before, but she has told me that she would rather stay "friends with benefits" with him, whatever that means.

Even I catch myself staring at him sometimes.  I do not know why...  I guess it's because in some bizarre way he vaguely resembles-

BAD STELLA!  As mentioned previously, this journal is for research purposes ONLY!

Then, there is Abhijeet Turner.

There is a word to describe male Sims like him, though I cannot recall the correct wording for it.  It begins with a P.  Yes, per-something.
I believe he's even included me on his potential mate list.  Too bad, I already have someone!

He definitely does not know the proper way to communicate with aliens.

I have tried to explain to him multiple times that not all aliens are like the scary ones he has seen in the movies, but he does not want to believe me.

Fortunately, Van does not want to hear anything about his prejudices against my kind either.

Though she still thinks it is okay to perform sexual interactions with him.

Usually, Van is able to organize a schedule so all three of the males can have a turn with her in private.  There was this one time, however, when Abhijeet was over when it was Ripp Grunt's turn.  I do not know much of the details, since Van was rather embarrassed about it, but I gather that...

Abhijeet had invited himself in one day since I left the door open, and decided that it was a nice place to do schoolwork.  Van did it many times, and I believed it was just common courtesy.  Not until this incident that I realized that she left the front door open as a signal for one of her potential mates that it was okay to come in.  He was looking rather paranoid and asked me where Van was, and I told him that she was with Ripp Grunt in the bedroom.

He was furious, and immediately got up and ran upstairs.  Prior to this, I thought that the three of them knew they were sharing Van.  I was obviously wrong.

Both of them apologized to him and the problem was solved quickly by actually revising the schedule together, but I believe that Ripp Grunt and Abhijeet's relationship was not that great to begin with.

Blair Mace is the studious one.

He is very shy and I believe the other two do not know that he is even seeing Van as well.  She respects his privacy and has requested that I should not pay attention and write notes when he is with her.

She says that being with him is rather sweet because prior to their interactions, Blair has not experienced even a kiss.  Usually I would be upset that I cannot absorb all of the information that I can by witnessing all the action, but I think I know why she is doing this.

While the other two are arguing about when they can have their time with Van, I believe she has already selected a mate.

And around this time I was selected by somebody as well, bringing me closer to experiencing the Sim version of pollination firsthand.
Yes- I am talking about him finally!  I DO NOT CARE ANYMORE!  And because I keep forgetting his name, I shall write it down in here.  It is Tank...  I still do not remember his surname, I'm afraid.  More and more we are spending time together, and he has agreed to let me move in to his dwelling once Van graduates University next semester.

...Though that would mean that I would have to live with Frances J. Worthington III as well, who is the rightful owner of the property.  I do not mind him because he is clearly one of those Sims that prefer mating with the same sex, which is something I have always wanted to study, but he really needs to stop displaying his anatomy all the time.

Definitely a pleasure Sim, Frances J. Worthington III would rather blow bubbles than do his schoolwork.

And for some bizarre reason he also enjoys staring at Tank and I with a scowl on his face.

I have a feeling that he thinks that I stole his mate from him.  I have told Tank about my suspicions, but he swears nothing has ever happened between them.

Recently, Frances J. Worthington III has completely forgotten about his previous "crush" (as Tank has called it) and has replaced him with another male that goes by the name Guy Wrightley.

Guy Wrightley has told us that him and Frances J. Worthington III have similar backgrounds, having both came from wealthy families.  Both are also expected to "carry on the family name", but they do not believe that will be happening any time soon.

They are too involved with each other to even think about being with the opposite sex, which is what their parents expect them to be with.  Just yesterday, Guy Wrightley has moved into the Worthington dwelling, which means that when I arrive it will be pretty crowded.

Though I do not think I will mind this because they are quite amusing.

Just as long as they keep their garments on around me, I am sure I will be fine.

If the love Tank speaks of really does exist, I do believe that Guy Wrightley and Frances J. Worthington III are engulfed in it.  I have never seen such a happy pair before, and hopefully their parents will be able to accept them the way they are if they ever decide to tell them their future plans.

I was taken by surprise because it does not happen this way on my home planet- but I do believe that Tank and I have some future plans of our own.

With that being said, I leave you dear journal; I am afraid I do not need you any longer.  After I graduate LFT with a degree in Biology, I shall move in with Tank and his father, and we will live a simple life in Strangetown, completely abandoning my prospects of becoming a pollination technician.  All I can hope is that one of my future offspring will be interested in taking up all the research that I have left behind.

After all, none of these notes can prepare me for what lies ahead.
