(no subject)
Tonight I came back from my grandma's house. She came out of the hospital last Wednesday and wanted me to stay there and watch her for about a week afterward. She still isn't feeling all that great but is definitely in a lot better shape than she was a few weeks ago. My brother and I will continue visiting her every day and helping her out around the house, but we all agreed she doesn't need our constant supervision anymore.
Know what's ridiculous? The damn hospital gave all these tests to my grandma including an MRI scan because of the dizziness and did not check her damn ears. They had no idea what caused her condition and just simply called it "vertigo". She went to her regular doctor a few days ago and it turns out she has an EAR INFECTION. Which makes sense, because your inner ear affects balance and stuff like that. The hospital also gave a super expensive medication for a rash/infection on her leg (which was actually what they were more concerned about, since she's a diabetic) and the doctor said it wouldn't be necessary because the antibiotic he prescribed for the ear would help with that infection as well. So, she was basically in the hospital for about a week for nothing.
Anyway, I promised pictures of her kitties so here they are!
