I just found out about this little piece of awesome. Everyone should get this program and tell everyone they know to also get this program. You set it up to different servers of your choosing through a very user friendly interface, and it makes your computer awesome. By awesome, I mean it takes your computer's idle time and uses it to process whatever scientific data needs to be processed based on what projects you connect to. So if you want, you can contribute your computer's processing power to the search for extraterrestrial intelligence, or to improve our ability to predict climate changes, or to search for cures to diseases currently thought to be incurable. This is what the internet should be all about: sharing resources to make life better. Why should pirating entertainment on bittorrent or limewire be the only thing we let our PC's downtime help out with?
