So I tried to sign on 6 people to the Bee's Knees staff. For namesakes, they were Chris, Katie, Terry, John, Sean, and Mike.

I gave them a prompt for this issue of the Bee's Knees, and the deadline for the article of any length was today, Monday.

I made Terry and John sit down and write articles, but I almost regret that now because those are the only two articles I got. I can't exactly scrap the issue and close the Bee's Knees from outside writers after I made them write short articles.

So I'm writing the rest of the issue after trying to call on other people who were previously enthusiastic to write for the Bee's Knees.

What I don't get is why people bother thinking of me as a conceded asshole when I tell them "the Bee's Knees is not accepting any outside writers at this time." Obviously I know exactly what is going to happen, as it's been tried and tested three times. "Oh I've got this great idea it's awesome it'll be a great article" and while I sit and wait for that article to magically produce itself, nothing is written and I've got open space that I once again have to fill. I'm not conceded, I'm just not going to wait around for articles that I'll never see. Therefore, the Bee's Knees remains at it's status of closed to outside writers.

P.S. you're all faggots
