Some Legacy
Well today was a cold day.. a very cold day... really it was freezing cold It should not be that cold in my apartment ever... Well now that I prefer to lie around in my pajamas when I am home. If I was in my normal clothes... well then it would be like I was in college. After all I kept my freshmen room freezing cold all the time. That aside of course it was an alright day I guess. I learned a valuable lesson about reading dates. I went to Costco to use some coupons and found that they are not valid until thursday. So I basically paid an extra $20 for stuff I needed. Sunrise sunset. Speaking of which.. crap I will handle that budgeting at work.
I gave Civilization V another go. When I am managing to not piss off everyone the game can be fun. I think I need to go on a conquest though. I will see if I can win through diplomacy with this one. Granted... I think the game is programmed to just have someone get pissed off at you. Seriously, out of no where Egypt decided it does not like me.... even though it is invading my territory. I guess the developers figured they needed to put the aggressive nature of most of these leaders in the game. It is a fun game, I can see why it is on its fifth version. Lucky for me my addiction to it is fading.
Finally I went to see Tron:Legacy today. Overall it was an enjoyable movie. What I remember of the first one did not happen in this one. The first one was cashing in on the trend of computing back in the 80s. It was a movie that you had to really understand computing to enjoy. This one the computing part of it was a secondary thing. Which was nice, and made the movie much more enjoyable. Too bad I had to pay $16.50 to see the damn thing. I am not doing IMAX-3D for a non-3D movie ever again.
