The Great Red Terror

So we actually started to paint tonight (10pm tues). but i guess before that, what we did was tape everything off, and i moved a bunch of crap from my room to the other room. i had to dismantle the beds and find places for them, and move all of my boxes and clothes over. the dressers and desks i moved to the center of room creating a nice little walk way.

we decided to paint the light creme yellowish color first, because if we were to make a mistake, it could be covered up easily by the red. the way we have it all painted it rather ingenious. depending on where you are in the room, the room will either seem larger or smaller. if you are sitting on the couch watching tv, it will seem nice and comfy. if you were to walk in from the front door it would seem longer than it is and likewise if you were to walk to the front door to leave. on two of the walls we're making a harlequin pattern (long diamond with 1:2 dementions). its pretty bad ass.

it's nearly 6 and we are not done yet. the red needs at least 2 more coats to look smooth (john wrote "i know what you did last summer" and its a bitch to cover up). but john just returned from walmart with more blue tape and a yard stick.

off to more painting!
